Dr. Ramunė Balevičiūtė is a theatre critic and researcher, an author of articles and books as well as the editor of the articles selection, the editor-in-chief of the publication Teatro žurnalas (Theatre magazine). She is the Vice-Rector for Art and Science at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. She teaches theatre history, conducts theater criticism workshops, supervises theses, actively participates in doctoral art activities. Moreover, she serves as the head of the literature section in the State Small Theatre of Vilnius. The main areas of interests: artistic research, acting, interfaces between theatre and cognitive science, theater for children.
