INVITATION TO ANTS’25 CONFERENCE

On September 25–27, the Lithuanian Theatre, Music and Cinema Museum‘s Muzeoteka (Vilnius St. 41, Vilnius) will host an international conference of Association of Nordic Theatre Scholars, organized by the Lithuanian Culture Research Institute.

One of the main goals of this conference is to discuss the dynamic connections between human cognition, creativity and artificial intelligence in theatre practice, theory and performances. The three-day conference program consists of twelve panel sessions, covering topics from transplanted performers to embodied intelligences. We are particularly delighted to present four keynote presentations by renowned scholars and artists: Annie Dorsen (US), Jeanette Ginslov (SE), Stefan Kaegi (DE), Michael Rau (US).

The project is financed by the Lithuanian Council for Culture, City of Vilnius, Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Lithuania, partners Association of Performing Arts Critics, Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre and friends Go Vilnius. Detailed information about the conference is available here. Those who wish to attend the presentations are kindly requested to register here.
