Deimantė Dementavičiūtė-Stankuvienė – is a theatre scholar. She works as a lecture and scientist at the Faculty of Arts, Department of Theatre Studies of Vytautas Magnus University, where she completed her bachelor’s and master’s studies in art history, and in 2019 she defended her doctorate in the field of humanities. She writes performance reviews and texts of other genres (on the topics of drama and puppet theater, contemporary dance) for Lithuanian cultural publications and dailies. She publishes most of her publications in the supplement “Santaka” of the daily newspaper “Kauno diena” dedicated to the cultural life of the city of Kaunas and in the cultural magazine “Nemunas” where she also worked as a performing arts editor. She is a member of the various Lithuanian Theatre Awards Commissions, 2023-2026 was Chairwoman of the leading “Golden Stage Crosses” Commission.
