Miglė Munderzbakaitė
Dr. Miglė Munderzbakaitė is a theatre scholar. In 2021, she defended her dissertation at the Faculty of Arts of Vytautas Magnus University (title: “Adaptation of Literary Works: Intermediate and Intercultural Dialogues”). Since 2012, she has been publishing articles (reviews, interviews, overviews) in Lithuanian cultural publications and online portals, reflecting on theatre and cinema works and processes. Since 2018, she has been teaching bachelor’s and master’s degree students at the Faculty of Arts of Vytautas Magnus University. M. Munderzbakaitė has participated in several jury commissions evaluating performing arts works. She is currently an expert in the field of theatre for the Lithuanian Council for Culture. Her research interests include adaptation theory: adaptations of literary works in theatre, cinema, and other media.
